This is an annual writing competition for the best academic paper by a currently enrolled freshman or sophomore. The award for first place is for $1,000 and the award for second place is for $500.
How to apply
Students should email their essay as a pdf to Linda Evans. In order to have the judging be as fair as possible, we ask that student names do not appear anywhere in the essay. Students should include their name and their contact information in the body of the email.
