Founded in 2016, the English Undergraduate Association (EUA) seeks to connect English majors across Rice's residential colleges. In addition to monthly meetings, the group hosts study breaks, career panels, and other campus-wide events. The group's leadership also liaisons with department faculty to coordinate and advance the undergraduate experience for all English majors. More broadly, the EUA seeks to ready students for diverse career paths and lives and to advance knowledge of the humanities. Past events have included English Major Movie Night, Finals Week Donuts and Essay-Writing, Inauguration Day Resistance Read-In, and a Literary-Themed Dinner with a Professor.
