Inprint Marion Barthelme Prize in Creative Writing

About

This $5,000 award is given out to a graduating student who has completed coursework in creative writing at Rice University. The prize will be awarded for an individual creative work in any genre taught in the department (poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction). A winner will be selected from submissions based on the excellence of an individual piece of writing, not an entire portfolio or overall performance in coursework. Applications are typically due in December and the prize is awarded in January or February.
